A Star Is Born-Our Story

For twenty nine years, my family and I owned Mona Lisa, a boutique unlike most.  People came to discover beautiful things and stayed because of the atmosphere. The timeless voice of Edith Piaf drifted softly through the rooms. White, high-gloss custom cabinetry, personally designed by my Dad and me, to evoke the elegant designer boutiques of Paris.  Every cabinet displayed carefully curated vignettes inspired by French style, each one inviting visitors to slow down, linger and discover something beautiful.    Over the years, I realized that what people remembered most wasn’t simply what they purchased.  It was how they felt. I hear this repeatedly when I run into my Mona Lisa customers.  

Star Evans Edits is the next chapter of this story.  

Today, this boutique has no walls.  Visitors from anywhere in the world are invited to step into the same atmosphere that guided Mona Lisa for decades - a place inspired by timeless European elegance, thoughtful curation, and the joy of discovering beautiful things.  

This time, every piece comes with a story. Each piece has been chosen with great care, not only for its beauty, but for the craftsmanship, history and inspiration that it represents.   Some are previously loved. Others are entirely new. Whenever possible, I will share the story of each piece - its design, its heritage, or the maker who created it.  And when a piece holds a personal memory or special connection for me, I will share that story too.  Beautiful objects become even more meaningful when we know the stories they carry.
